The Association for Information Systems (AIS) is an international, not-for-profit, professional association with the stated mission to serve society through the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of excellence in the practice and study of information systems. AIS at Temple University has partnered with GetAttendance to utilize Attend to ensure professional development at their meetings through polling and geo-location-based attendance captures.
AIS has been using our product for over three years now and has tracked more than 120 days of attendance with more than 800 different students. They have recorded attendance at multiple locations and hosted various events through the GetAttendance platform and cloud.
At the beginning of every lecture AIS has the following screen set up so that students can arrive and sign into attendance either by entering the pin on the board or taking a picture of the QR code on the PowerPoint slide. GetAttendance is supporting AIS’s goal to professionally develop students in the field of information systems while fostering an inclusive organization.
