The Rotation Model

One of the most explored sets of blended learning models are the “Rotation Models”. This week we continue to explore another variations of the Blended learning rotation model. The rotational models mainly focus on modular, in-class, tech assisted learning. This week we cover “Lab Rotation”.

Definition

Lab Rotation is a blended learning model in which student activities alternate between educator-led instruction and independent computer lab time. During the lab portion students are encouraged to tackle problems or other activities and follow online material at their own pace. The educator may still be present to answer questions or introduce and facilitate lab activities.
